Mend Diplomat HJA 8703 Dryer Fluff Inside

Diplomat HJA 8703 dryer fault?

Every 3 to 6 months my washer/dryer cloggs up with fluff inside the plastic drain inside. I have to take the back panel off and flush out the build up otherwise the dryer only pumps out cold air. I have tried not drying my towels in it to see if this helps, it doesn't. We have cleared it out 4 times now so obviously a fault. Is there a product you can recommend to stop the build up of fluff/or break it down.
