My Belline cordless kettle light up but doesnot boil?

My belline stainless steel automatic kettle is one and half years old. it is now not working,when I switch on the auto lights come up but the water is not boiling .just before it packed up the auto stop switch was not functioning the kettle was boiling over and i had to switch off the auto switch manually since it seems that the electricity is not pasing throught o boil kettle.any suggstion to repair it ?
