I have just moved into a new property, and there is currently a veritas alarm installed, but i have no idea what the code is. How do i reset the alarm for me to enter a new code?

disconnect mains power and the backup battery which wil be inside the control panel wait 10 seconds and ignore the external siren sounding.
Now reapply mains power and within 10seconds press the reset button three times slowly, hey you should have succesfully reset the panel back to factory defaults:
user code: 4321
eng code: 1234
you may need it programmimg to suit site conditions, or it may just happen to be fine
