Mend Navman F20 Work Charge Battery

How can I fix my Navman F20 Sat Nav?

The F20 seems to work OK, but it will only charge the battery up on a USB socket out of my computer. When you plug in the charger supplied the battery icon comes up with a cross next to it and does not charge. I bought a replacement charger but this has no effect either. What next?
