Navman F20?

I have just inherited the above Sat Nav

It quite old and needs updating but also the battery does not hold a charge for more than 20 minutes .

Is it possible to replace the battery and how much are they .

Is it possible to do an update of roads etc on line ? How much will that cost ?

I am an electrical Engineer and capable of carrying out this work .

Navman Navigation, Satellite Navigation Battery Charge 20

Ref the no volume etc, if you take the back off the unit, the speaker plug is accessible. It may have come loose.

the battery is working fine, will changing it make the talking work?

my navman f20 has stopped talking when it is un use, i tried the mute and the volume but these seemed to be fine, does any1 have any ideas. I phoned the helpline but they wasn't bothered as it is out of guarantee, all they wanted to do was to tell me to buy another.

Answered one of the questions myself. Have replaced battery (online from Morpeth Mobiles) at a cost of £10 and a pouch for the satnav £3.99 postage free .
No news on the update though

battery is available ,updates are available just google battery for a Navman F20 £18-90
updates for a Navman F20 ?
