I have a GlowWorm Ultracom 30cxi boiler, fitted 2 years ago. Recently had a problem whereby the pressure bar gradually increased from 1.0 bar to 1.7. Called out engineer who fiddled with it's innards and said it would now be fine. Said the valve underneath (the one used to RE-pressurise) was not closed fully which caused pressure to raise. Now having the same problem and it's up to 1.9 as had heating on over weekend. Can someone please advise how to reduce the pressure without calling an engineer? Many thanks.
i have the same model my bar pressure keeps going up from 2.5 to 3.6 is this dangerous

As the pressure rises when it gets hot, the system must have alot of air in it which expands with increasing temperature, pushing up the pressure. Try bleeding the radiators and any air traps as a first port of call.
