Mend Renault Cleo Engine Immobiliser Fire

How do i by-pass engine immobiliser on 1998 Cleo ???

Hi , my daughters cleo wont start, engine immobiliser not allowing engine to fire up. I took infra red receiver out and cleaned heads and inside plastic cover , put it back and it worked for a couple of times but now fails again . Can you suggest anything please ? Regards Bob a very irate girls father.

is it a diesel or petrol, if its a diesel its very complicated, if its a petrol i believe the immobilser just cuts the elecy to the fuel pump so wire an ignition live and earth to the pump.
