Mend Ford Transit Starter Motor Battery

short circuit ford transit?

i replaced starter motor but earthed the live by error now have no power going anywhere its dead, checked fuses and battery seams ok any ideas thanks

think it is called a fusible link and its on the earth cable

if its a later transit,i think there is a large fuse on battery lead down side of battery under seat [not sure which lead it's on]
