Aw come on, give this guy a break huh? are these cable operated or hydraulic?? anyhow the 'bottle' you describe i think you mean the brake fluid reservoir which is normally fixed to the r/h handlebar next to the lever pivot bolt and will have a level mark on the side to check fluid levels. dunno if you have to un-screw the cap or take out some screws first to be able to top-up fluid, put a rag over the paintwork first in case of spillage.If cable op. ignore all this info.cheers.
