my draw wont open on my sharp xe-a102 ?

The key is not supposed to open the drawer. It is used to lock or unlock it, but not open it. There is a trigger under the drawer between the back two feet that should be used to release the drawer tray during a power outage. If the trigger does not work, then you have a jammed drawer or faulty mechanism.
