remove the plastic cover inside the boot to get access. there are 2 thin 'bolts' which extend about 1 inch such that a standard socket cannot reach the bolt head itself. you will need a 7mm socket deep enough to grip the bolt (extra deep pro range or similar). remove the bolts and then work the unit free from outside the car to reveal the light sockets. alternatively let halfords replace the bulb for you for £3.99 plus cost of bulb
