Mend JML H1500 Halogen Cooker Repair

halogen cooker does not switch on or off when temperature is reached?

i have a halogen cooker model H1500 from JML.
the light does not go on and off when cooking.it cooks the outside of meats but not the inside.i have spoken to JML but they do not have a recommended repairer.is there anyone in the Gateshead or Chester-le street area who repairs them.regards Barry.
