no do not ignore xs11 as most cooling systems are flushed the same way, why ignore the advise you asked for and were given.

garry, make sure the system is cold, best way is to undo the clips on the radiator hoses and catch the old fluid.let all the old stuff drain out,using a garden hose inserted in the disconnected hoses flush the hoses out until the water runs clear. now put the hose pipe in the radiator openings and flush it in both directions again until the water runs clear.refit the clips and refill.dont forget the anti freeze as its also an anti corrosive.
