how to drain the cooling system? Vauxhall Astra 1.6 CD Hatchback?

check for drain plug on bottom of radiator,if not there pull off bottom radiator hose,pull off top radiator hose and put garden hose into bottom hose and reverse flush the radiator,you can remove thermostat and put hose in there and flush out engine while you have the bottom hose off,refit all hoses etc and fill with 50/50 mix of water/a/freeze and bleed system
