peugeot206 oil pressure ?

my 54 reg peugeot 206 is flasing stop with a message oil pressureinsufficient i have toppped up with correct oil but its still flashing what can be the problem. linda

Sounds as if the oil filter has collapsed.
Buy a new genuine filter and fit it. If an oil change is about due, do that at the same time.

dont know the mileage or when it was serviced last but would try and change the oil and filter first,if no better get a oil press,switch from a scrappy and try that,could be your pump wearing
