yes its normally where they have fitted polycarb roof too tight in t sections as they expand and contract with heat any more questionsi am a glass specialist and have over 23years experience

Yes it's called expansion through heating. You can hear the same on plastic guttering on my bungalow creaks and groans like my bones. Nothing to worry about both my conservatories creak and groan when sun comes out.

All materials expand and contract as they become warmer and colder - PVC has a relaticely high coefficient of linear thermal expansion - about 6 or more times that of glass - so you would hear it creaking from time to time as the air temperature changes... My plastic guttering is always creaking...
