Ok, this has been happening for a while now and until now I figured out what's wrong... My Mp3 player is sort of broken from inside, from where the headphones go, becuase of this only the right side of the headphones emites sound... But now it gets worse! I have to keep pushing the headphones so that one side can emite sound!
Your problem is the headphone connection is dry soldering. All you will need to do is take your player to bits, locate the socket and re-work the solder, if you are unsure ask someone who knows how to use a soldering iron. After all should be well.
