how can i fix my tricity bendix cooker?

I replaced oven element,but it does not work when oven is swithed on the red indicating light does not come on ether. I have checked the connections to the element and they look fine.help

Check the thermal cut out, situated at the rear of the appliance about 200mm up from the main connection block. Just found mine on a tricity bendix strata completley melted, i have by passed it till i get one
