Mend Citroen C3 Player Fitted Works Fine

citroen c3 cd player?

Hi
I have fitted a new cd player to my citroen c3 it works fine for about a minute then my electrics go haywire and a beeping noise comes through my speakers when I play a cd. Can anybody help. Thanks in advance.

i take it you fitted a genuine citroen one ? a direct repalcement? you need to put back in the original one, take the car and your new cd player to your citroen dealer, and they need to un-configure your old one from the car,fit the new one and re-configure. New ish Citroen radios dont have radio codes, they are programmed into the vehicle, hence you took one out,fitted another and it bleeps!! car dont know what you fitted. If its a non gen cd player, I think if they just un-configure it, it might stop bleeping. hope this helps
