just to let you know that here in northampton, i can get any auto g/box seals i have needed from motor factors, as i have had auto's for over 30 yrs and never had problem getting any g/box or sump seals, plus i find motor factors are cheaper than auto transmission shops.

Most auto transmission shops will have any seals etc. in stock or available swiftly. Its very unlikely that motor factors could help. The leak could be from any where even the breather if overfilled. For specialist www.fedauto.co.uk

drain fluid, and change seal, get this from motor factors, give them reg. number to get correct seal.fill with correct type/amount of transmisson fluid, start car and keeping the brakes on, go though gears to settle fluid.
