how can i fix my indesit W123S washer?

We used to have a lot of problems sticking on wash cycle, and even not working due to the following:
1)at 90° the thermostat stopped working, and the machine stopped or the dial turned. -> don't use 90°
2)under the loader, remove the plate, on the right you should see a big plastic screw. tilt machine back (so water doesn't run out), and remove screw, check to see if any small socks or items are stuck. -> good luck

This is because you have put the control slightly to the wrong place. Unplug your washer or turn it off at the mains, put the control knob to a Stop point, wait three minutes, turn it on and everything should be okay.
