ignition fault light comes on any ideas?

my s reg megane had the key left in the ignition in the ready to start position and my wife locked the keys in from the back door and the battery ran flat now the last but one orange light on the right of the dash flashes when on idle speed but every thing seems ok but the steering does not seem to lock and the immobileiser still flashes when the car is locked any ideas doug
