Citroen xsara immobiliser & central locking fault?
All of a sudden my xsara will not start. When i put the key in the ignition the dash lights up as normal but the key symbol stays on, I get a warning on the display saying 'engine immobiliser fault' and a binging noise. Also the central locking does not work. I changed the battery in the key hoping this was the issue but sadly not. Any ideas welcomed.
I have the smae problem, except I don't get the key icon lit up on the dash and my drivers side electric window doesn't work. Also the central locking unlocks the car, but then relocks straight away! Did the reset work for you?

Ah. Have you had anyone look at it yet? if so what was the damage?

I have exactly the same problem going on at the momnet - the research I have done seems to indicate return to dealer for reset - My battery has run flat in the cold but after a couple of turns the same display issues come up and no dice as regards a start
