2006 Peugeot jetforce 50cc scooter electric starter fault?

Hi, my fiancee's electric starter button doesn't work, checked starter by puttin a split pin in relay connections and it spins up, but nothing if i press the button? changed the relay and disconnected the electric start button and bridged the connectors but still nothing, also fuse seems fine and battery if fully charged and connectors are clean. lights/ indicators and horn work any ideas guys? starts 1st time if kick started. Thanks in advance for your help

do you know that you have to pull a brake in to start it?if neither of the brake light switches work then thats the problem.check each brake light one at a time and see if it lights the rear light up.you need to make the rear light come on to complete the starter circuit.
