Mend Ryobi PBC-3046YE Motor Shaft

Ryobi brushcutter motor spins on shaft?

My Ryobi PBC-3046YE motor /handle rotates on the yellow shaft, Ryobi recommended a new handle (Black plastic part) which I fitted ensuring that the small lug was located in the shaft, used it once and the darn thing is rotating again any ideas for a permanent fix for this????
