sears riding mower 917.256524?

I"am haveing a problem with a srm that will start with brake pedal lock down , but you release the pedal it stops
I think I've ck all the switches .
Any suggesstion.

Possible seat switch connector block, make sure it is pushed righy home onto the switch itself, there is a fail safe in the block which shuts the engine down if the block comes away from the switch, if there are relays by the fuel tank it could also be an issue with the start circuit relay
