Mend Panasonic KX-TGM430 Help Fixing Window

I need help fixing my Panasonic cordless phone base?

All the lights on my Panasonic cordless phone base are blinking and the display window reads E 1. The handset display windows are reading "No link to base .." and the phones are obviously not working. What can I do to fix the problem without tossing the whole set out? Thanks.
