Mend HP nx6110 Replacement Faulty Drive

Can I get replacement cd/dvd re-write for my HP Compaq nx6110?

CD/DVD writer says drivers are corrupt does this mean the drive is faulty? If so can I get a replacement drive or does someone out there know how to fix it.

You can usually get new drivers for your drive from the manufacturer's web site. If it is a Compaq drive, go to the HP webs site www.hp.com, download the drivers and follow the install procedure that you find there.
