makes a sound when drying?

we have a kenmore 90 series dryer that heats up okay but
when it is drying it makes a loud whining sound. I took the
back off and got all of the lint out but it is still making the sound. Do you think it could be the motor?

Hello,

A motor with bad bearings can make a sort of humming sound but I don't think it would be a whine sound. The idler pulley that keeps presure on the belt could be another possiblity.
