speedo not working?

hi i have a peugeot 306 1.4 2001 speedo doesnt work i have changed the speed sensor at the gearbox and clocks and checked fuses and pulled the hs fuse both rev and speedo needles went up when i put it back in and came back down but the speedo still doesnt work everything else does thanks
