How can i fix my Philips portable dvd player?

I have a philips portable dvd player model number PET707/05 and the picture is extremely faint on the screen, we can hear the sound but have got very little picture. There is a twin screen with this product and the picture and sound on that screen is fine.
How can i fix the picture on the main player?
