ive lost my mileage display on my 206?

ive lost my mileage display completly on my 99 206 any ideas

Self adhesive flexible ribbon cable has come away from the main board. You can try to warm the end up with a hot air iron and push the cable down firmly so it sticks but this isn't too successful. The alternative is to buy a new unit.
