Mend Peugeot 206HDi Changed Gauge Work

changed speedo on a peugot 206hdi?

i changed my clocks (speedo) for a better one as the fuel gauge did not work, when i installed it the millage showed 115467, but my car has only done 78200, so i changed it back but it still read the greater what can i do any ideas

Peugeot Peugeot 206HDi Vehicles, Cars Changed Gauge Work

think this is controlled by the ECU,may have to go to peugeot dealer to get this changed
