how to fix the blurriness?help meee?

ok,how do you fix the blurriness of the webcam?
fyi :it's not a built in wc
i've tried to turn the ring like anybody else does,but it doesnt seem to have an ending part of it.i kept turning them and nothing happened.i knew tht something might've been broken inside the ring or something. so,anybody can tell me how to fix it?
