how do I stop the water coming out the shower over flow?

I Have a triton shower and the water is gushing out a what looks like over flow pipe in the main base unit but if I only take the shower head off the water flows fine along the hose I thought it wash the shower head and I have just got a new shower head but as soon as I attach it the overflow just gushed water agian

We have exactly the same problem and have had it before! I think you will find its something to do with a pressure relief valve that is fitted internally its a small but annoying part that you have to buy from Triton. i'm just about to ring my plumber friend who fixed it for us last time.
