if timing belt snapped most likely valve damage ,but to time it up need a pin kit ,when you buy it you will get a diagramme showing how to do it 1 in crank (gearbox end ) 1 in camshaft (9oclock) and pump has 2 timing marks 1 letter A 25 past other lines up with belt markings 10 past) hope this is helpfull do a compression test when done then know if need valves and approx how many ,also before all this take rocker cover off and check camshaft make sure not snapped
