Mend Renault Clio 1.9 diesel Timing Marks Belt 1996

how do I line up the timing marks on a renault 1.9 diesel?

I've changed the timing belt on my 1996 renault clio 1.9 diesel. It doesn't tick over sand I get loads of blue smoke. Maybe the timing marks are off. How do I know where are the marks especially the diesel pump.

i have a diagram that might help
frist there are 2 types of diesel pumps
1 has non adjustable or 3 bolt adjustable sprocket
2 lucas pump with centrally adjustable sprocket
i will send both diagrams
