My breadmaker when switched on does not work (mixer not going round) The electronic countdown timer is working but there is no mixing taking place. On listening to the unit there is also no sound ie, no motor running sound. Is the unit woth repairing?
Graham
Hi Graham,
It does sound fairly terminal, and no it is not really worth doing costly repairs on such an old machine. To asses the ammount for the repair will a total strip down of the machine, and a lengthy fault finding exercise, If you could hear the motor running, but the paddle not mixing, them yes a new belt would be an option. Sorry that your machine is not working.
