How can I fix riding mower W/ oil in gas?

My grandson put 2 cycle oil/gas mixture in my Craftsman riding mower, and tried to run it. We cleaned the tank and line, put new gas in and started it. Smokes like crazy, pops on every cycle and sputters. Where do I go from here?

Just keep running it through, it will clear eventually, two stroke oil is a good upper cylinder lubricant so it will not do any harm
