iveco 2.8 turbo 1998 electrical problem?

Hi there i have a 1998 iveco2.8 turbo van which when i tried to start the other day the electrics completely shut the electrics can any body please give me some advice and engine down at the same time.
it blew a 40amp fuse next to the battery, replaced it ,still no sign of life,have been trying to get a wiring
diagram for this model but have had no luck.can anybody please help me .Thanks alot
