Mend Hotpoint HD996020 Integrated Not Working

Integrated Washer/Dryer not working?

After the wash cycle finished, pressed the half load button to set to the dryer and the washer/dryer fused and has locked the door & on/off light will not come on. Its code ref is: HD996020 & number APM 8702. I have just moved in & this is the first time I used it, so can you please help?
