unused (ex display) nardi dishwasher not working?

Take it back or ring the retailer they can't legally sell you a faulty ex display model unless they told you it was faulty. Certainly don't touch it it until you have spoken to them as this would affect your rights. If you bought it from a retailer that has gone bust you may be able to seek compensation from your credit card company providing you paid with c/card. They have a special department that deals with this sort of thing. Failing that you can put a claim through the administrators of the company. First things first try and speak to the retailer asap.
