Mend Epson DX4450 Error Printer Scanner

ESCNDV.exe error message?

My Epson DX4450 all in one printer keeps coming up with the escndv.exe problem when I try to use the scanner. It seems to be a very common problem - what is the solution please. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The printer part is working.
Help please ??
