I suspect that you have knackered the flow turbine sensor which is in-line between the top-up point and the return pipework of the c/h cct.You have run cold water top-up at a good velocity for a longish period.Thats one area to start checking. Down load the manual from Worcester-Bosch go to trade and discontinued models the fault finding section is helpful if you can use a multimeter, otherwise call the man who can.
