Mend 206 Clutch Biting Top

Clutch is biting at the top and the bottom!!!!?

My 2000 206 1.1lx has just had a new clutch and auto adjusting cable, now it bites at the bottom of the pedal and at the top but not in the middle???? Help me please as its driving me mad!!!
