Mend Nissan Kubistar Battery Light Notice

STOP BATTERY light on? nissan kubistar?

i notice that my dipped light bulbs had blown and the STOP BATTERY light came on. i've changed the blubs but the STOP BATTERY light is still on. i now have to jump start the van. i've put the battery on charge for the night, but could it be the alternater??please help as i'm piss pot poor and still need to get to work!!

thanks for your surgestions, it was the alternator that had packed up. back on the road with music blaring!!!

Check your charging rate with a voltmeter,should be around 14 volts

Good morning people. Well i've charged it over night, and battery says it's full. However STOP BATTERY light is still on. any idears????????

Hello ghost. Ive still got a drive belt on it. bollocks i might just set fire to it!!! thanks anyway!

its either the alternator/brushes or the drive belt may have come off
