Mend Russell Hobbs 2200 Green Light Flashing

Russell Hobbs steam glide2200, The green light remains flashing, no indicati?

Despite iron being 18 monts old , little used,(3 months)hence out of warranty period.
The green light remains flashing ,no indication that it is ready for steam,hence when attemt to press the button pump not functioning.(Problem 2 days old), iron generator had been descalled and filter changed last week. due to hard water area any suggestion please.
