3 way fridge problem?

I have a 1993 Hymer motorhome which has a Electrolux 3 way fridge it works perfect on gas & 12 volt but does not work on 240 volt although the green mains light on the fridge does light up help would be appreciated

It sounds as if the power is getting to the fridge, but the heating element is not working. It is situated next to the flue, if you can get to you can tell if its working by putting your finger on it {carefully} to check if its getting hot. If not it is reasonably easy to fit a replacement, at the last quote they were around £30. I am not a fridge engineer, this is only what I have found out by experience. Good luck.

Put it in front of the TV on BBC1 and make it watch the Election synopsis,I am sure it will do anything you want it to after that.Good luck.
