Mend AEG T37400 Control Knob Turns

How do I replace a control knob on an AEG T37400 Tumble Dryer?

The control knob on our AEG T37400 tumble dryer appears to be broke, it just turns loosely with no "bite" to select the programme. I can't seem to find any way to remove the front panel of the dishwasher to get at the knob.
