Mend Black and Decker GL720 Strimmer Replacement And

black and decker strimmer GL720?

After the belt snapping, i managed to get another belt. However, im struggling to put this belt on, any ideas on how to get the belt on?

I have had exactly the same problem, but noticed that the plastic drive wheel ahd melted by the drive belt. An awfull engineering cock up by the B&D design. Further, replacement of drive not available or alternative offered by B&D. Product should have been recalled.
Shame on B&D not to act and leave consumers with a dead product forking out on a 'trusted tool' supplier?
Hey ho for Bosch and higher end product with much better understanding how to deal with their market!!

undo all the screws on side you will have to peel back the sticker with the diagram of how to hold the strimmer as there is a screw hidden underneath
replace belt and crew back in reverse order

unfasten the screw and hex bolt at the shaft end to allow flexi shaft to be pulled out allowing belt to be slipped over cog
